What happens when I lose power?

If the security system detects a trouble condition, it will flash the trouble alert icon (a triangle with an exclamation mark).  First, press the trouble alert icon to view all current troubles.  After reviewing the trouble conditions, press OK to acknowledge.  This will silence the alert.  This may need to be renewed in situations where the trouble restores and then goes back into trouble later.  Some common trouble conditions:

  • AC Power Failure (No Power to Transformer)
  • System Low Battery (Back Up Battery Low)
  • Phone Failure Trouble (Phone Line Down)
  • Communication Failure (Unable to Forward Signal to Central Station)
