Why does CPI not respond to my alarm activation?

CPI Security -

Sounded less than 15 seconds

This is called the “CP01” feature and has been implemented into our panel design to reduce false alarms for authorized users in the home that immediately acknowledge the activation with an authorized user code.  If you are able to disarm your activation within the 15 seconds, no alarm is sent to the central station.

Sounded more than 15 seconds

The alarm system uses a phone to communicate the alarm signals. If your phones are down, or you have made phone changes a test needs to be completed to ensure your system is communicating correctly. This test can be completed by calling our Customer Care department at 800-948-7133.
